Alicia Connelly
Creative Strategist | Anthropologist | Visual Storyteller
A North Carolina local, Alicia Connelly graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in December 2020, with a B.A in Anthropology and a B.A in Media Studies. Alicia’s primary concentration is in ethnographic film and photojournalism.
Throughout university, Alicia focused on the intersection of anthropology and digital content creation. During her time abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, Alicia sought to create content dedicated to ethical film making with holistic, comprehensive methodology and intent.
Alicia’s time at both UNC-Greensboro and The University of Cape Town, helped her acquire and build on all of the necessary videography, editing, and journalism skills that are needed in order to be successful in the media industry
Within Alicia’s work, her objective is not to tell others’ stories for them, but rather, become a vessel in helping people tell their stories through their own personal lens. Alicia has worked with clients from around the world and looks forward to working with you next in creating the content you need!
